Steve Sarkisian, the name behind stevesark.com, is a professional software architect with 20 years of experience, an ex professional night club DJ and an avid traveller (especially when it comes to music related travel).

Software

Steve started software development professionally in the days of ASP 1.0, COM/DCOM and SQL Server 6.5. He quickly evolved with Microsoft into .NET 1.0, all the way to current version. He is an expert in Microsoft Azure, a subject on which he has spoken about at meetups from Los Angeles to Chicago. Since the early days, Steve has also gained significant experience in node.js, Swift (from version 1.0 on) and MongoDB. He is also a certified developer on the Mulesoft integration framework.

DJ Business

Before graduating college and starting his software career, Steve ran a successful business as a mobile/club DJ. He held down DJ residencies at The Muse and McMurphy's nightclubs in Pasadena, Gotham Hall nightclub in Santa Monica and Nacional nightclub in Hollywood.

Travel
